The last 18 months God has been speaking to me about being anchored in Him. Learning how to really trust Him and His promises. To keep my focus on Him and not the wind and the waves.
Surrender?
How do I do that?
What does that look like?
Enter “Jesus over everything”.... The answer I have been looking for. The words I need to hear right now. Simple instructions and steps on how to put God first. In order for me to feel free. Experience God’s peace in the midst of the hard season we are in; I have to put Jesus over everything!
Every emotion.
The fear.
The need to control.
The diagnosis.

Jesus must be over it all.

I used to think that asking why was dangerous. Kept me focusing in the wrong direction. Which I have to still agree with both of those statements.

❤️ I love these four humans with all my heart. And today I celebrate Mother’s Day because of them.

I shared this post one year ago today when my husband was in the hospital for a serious allergic reaction to chemotherapy Meds.
(Diagnosed with brain cancer 1/9/19)
God has been with us through every hill and valley this past year. He has never left our sides.
Has it been hard? YES!
Has it been scary? YES!
Has it been amazing? YES!
There have been many tears and moments of doubt and fear but through it all God has never left us. He keeps showing up in big and small ways.
It has been amazingly beautiful to draw closer to my God. Get to know Him and His word in a whole new way.
His promises are true🌈
Amazing things are happening here!

These feelings have plagued each of us at one time or another. The sting of rejection. The deep loss of a relationship that was there one day and gone the next. Grieving the untimely death of a loved one.

As my 2019 came to an end and 2020 began I really knew that God was nudging me to just take the month of January to 🌟Reset
🌟Rest
🌟and Slow down... I don’t know about you but for me, I needed the time off after the year we had.
So many times we can be rushing through the holidays and jump at warp speed into the New Year. With all the shiny new goals and aspirations to finally make them happen this year!
I have found that slowing down in my first month of the year is really going to set the tone for the months to follow.
It also gave me a chance to really listen to the direction that God wants me to go moving forward.

My goals? 🌟Stay in my lane
🌟Live my life in the middle
🌟and run all the miles I can
